La Reina Beach Panama is a beautiful beach of warm blue waters, that along with its sand and amazing waves invites tourists and locals to practice surfing, a sport for which contests are organized during the summer time. How to get there?
From Panama City, drive through the Panamerican Highway to the central provinces. Before reaching Santiago, province of Veraguas, turn left at the entrance to the community of Atalaya. After a 4 km. ride from the detour, you will reach a sign that shows the entrance to Mariato. Go further about 21 kms. until you reach a crossroad, they turn to your right for about 52 kms to reach Mariato. There you will see a detour sign which reads Playa La Reina.
