Playa Damas or Checkered Beach Panama, in the coast of the province of Colón, toward the Atlantic, with peaceful waters, coral reefs and low tides, and is known for the checkered look on its sand.

How to get there?
To visit Playa Damas you must first get to Nombre de Dios, where you will get a motor boat to Playa Damas. From Panama City go to Nombre de Dios by road through the Simon Bolivar Highway, continuing via the Transisthmian Highway or via the North Corridor to avoid city traffic. When you reach Sabanitas, turn to the right and go straight for approximately 45 Kms to reach Portobelo. From Portobelo go further 8.3. Kms until a crossroad, where you must then turn right and go straight for about 16 Kms until you reach the center of the town.

Tropical Climate and average temperature is 79ºF.
