Montijo's Gulf Panama

The Montijo's Gulf area of Panama enjoys with diverse sightings thanks to its closeness to the sea, rolling rivers, mountains, farms and a great variety of animal species, on land, sea and air, as well as thick vegetation, ideal for exploration and ecotourism.

Location

How to get there?

From Panama City, take the Panamerican Highway towards the Central Provinces. When you get to Santiago, in the Province of Veraguas, in front of the Piramidal Hotel, drive towards the Av. Central o Héctor A. Santacoloma in the direction of the Cathedral of Santiago Apóstol; turn left on Calle 2, behind the church (the same one that will take you to La Colorada). Once on Calle 2 take the second deviation to the right, that will take you straight to Montijo.

Weather

Tropical Climate and average temperature is 75ºF.

Suggestions

You need to take bug repellent,jeans, sneakers or boots, bathing suit and hat.
