El Agallito Beach Panama Is A Marine-Coastal Wetland Heaven

Located 4 kilometers away from Chitré Panama, in the province of Herrera, El Agallito beach extends from the ends of two rivers, Parita and La Villa, defining this area as a marine-coastal wetland, and in its gulf visitors may also see whales and dolphins. Besides being an important site for mangroves, this beach served as a port for ships during colonial times. Another attraction of the area is the park by Agallito beach, which provides wholesome entertainment for the family and the chance to taste the local cuisine and fresh fish.

How to get there?

To visit El Agallito Beach, you need to travel to Chitre, from the Transportation Terminal in Albrook. The beach is 4 kms. from Chitre. When you get to Chitre, find the church, go the opposite direction for about 1.7 kms until you get to the intersection and turn right for about 3.7 kms. until you reach El Agallito.

Tropical Climate and average temperature is 79ºF.
