300 Feet Tavida Waterfalls In Panama Is a Favorite Spot

With a 30 meter-high waterfall, El Tavida is a favorite spot for rappelling aficionados in Panamá. The exuberantly green surroundings of this waterfall provide escape for adventurous spirits and those looking for a quiet stroll down trails sheltered by thick foliage and wildflowers.

How to get there?

From Panama City take a Panama-Penonome bus in the Albrook Transportation Terminal. On arrival, take a Penonome-Chiguiri Arriba bus. El Tavida waterfalls may be reached by foot, horse or bike.

Tropical Climate and average temperature is 75ºF.

Suggestions

You need to take a bathing suit and appropriate shoes for walking on the rocks prior to reaching the waterfall.
